Entry #5
The alley was cloaked in shadow enough to dull the colour of all inside it; Tomio's form was only visible by his dull golden marks, Suishou's fur could be barely seen. The two watched the Glameow stretch casually against the chain fence.
"What do you have for us?" Suishou peered curiously through the shadow.
"Just gimme a minute.." he mumbled between stretches. "I barely got enough sleep last night, 13 hours just isn't enough."
"Don't jerk us around." Tomio glared as he advanced on the Glameow, donning a battle stance. "If you're going to waste our time, we're leaving."
"Don't be like that." The Glameow purred, watching Tomio's expression. "I have such a wonderful thing for you."
"Out. With. It." Tomio spat bitterly.
"Follow me if you wish to see." Smiling warmly, the Glameow deliberately paused for several moments before continuing. "For this teaches patience to the impatient."
Grumbling, Tomio gestured to the cat to lead the way, and the two followed him past several identical alleys, the clouds overheard were starting to pan out and light could be seen.
"Just a little further." The Glameow superiorly held his head up.
"You said that a hour ago." Tomio seethed as they crossed a road and ventured into another alley. "Just where are we going?"
"To someplace of interest to others..." The Glameow purred. "But those people are insane, so we're going there for my interest."
"I don't like this Tomio..." Suishou glanced around as she saw the scenery in the alley they just turned to had abandoned homes and chop-shopped cars.
"Don't worry..." Tomio nuzzled briefly against her fur. "I won't let anything happen to you."
"...I'm worried if something happens to you because you protected me.." Suishou forlornly stared at the floor.
"There lies the interesting, yet uninteresting thing for you." the Glameow suddenly stopped behind a run down house. The two glanced to the other as the rusty door started to creak open...
