The Forsaken entry 9

Entry #9

Suishou cast a final glance around; taking in the white cracked walls of the apartment, the matted green carpet with the occasional spot showing the bare wooden floor beneath, before returning her glance to Lucian as he pushed the white door open in an overly dramatic fashion.

"With no hesitation..." Lucian calmly started, "may I present to you, the forsaken children."

Slowly, a group of pokemon poked their heads through the door, before stepping through; revealing a Pichu, Aipom, Cleffa, Igglybuff, Teddiursa, Smoochum and Seedot, who all hid behind Lucian.

"Don't be shy." Suishou smiled warmly, "we're here to try to help you."

"He's scary..." peaking around Lucian's shoulder, the Pichu quietly mouthed, "he looks like a bad man..."

"Tomio isn't a bad person." Suishou soothed warmly, "he can show it by apologizing for scaring you before."

"Sorry." Tomio insincerely stated. "Your 'daddy' egged me on."

"Say it like you mean it!" Suishou turned and glared at him. "You scared these kids who had it just as bad as you!"

"Sorry, truly I am for making you think that I would be a threat to you." Tomio slowly trotted to them, hanging his head in misery. "I just want to help you in any way I can..."

"Prove it." Lucian grinned slightly. "Do something for them that is completely unselfish and was done solely for their benefit, and maybe they'll accept you."

"...What do you want?" Tomio sighed before looking into Lucian's smug expression.

"Let's ask them." Lucian turned to the children, "what do you want, starting with... Celes."

"Could we ask for some food?" the small Pichu looked up to him pleadingly.

"Of course you may Celes." He turned to Tomio, "you heard her, and I'm not cute enough to have people give me it, nor am I strong enough to take it by force, acquire some food for the children, if you'd be so kind."

Tomio turned to Suishou, nodding curtly before the two of them headed out the shadows of the doorway...

The Forsaken entry 8

Entry #8

Suishou's head craned around the shadows of the doorway as they passed through; taking in every detail of the plain white cracked walls, the occasional window broken, shards of glass could be seen on the matted green carpet, looking up, Suishou could see the indifferent face of Lucian watching the two.

"Welcome to my abode." Lucian dryly stated, closing his eyes as he gestured around with his paw to a group of young pokemon in another room. "Over here we have some sloppy seconds from other trainers."

"Don't use that term." Tomio bitterly scowled at Lucian, "We can just walk out now and no guilt trip can make us come back."

"Hold such thoughts until you at least talk to the others." Lucian started to clean his paw, "they could use some assistance during this time of year."

Suishou peered through a crack in the doorway, seeing a small Pichu play tag excitedly with a Cleffa and a Aipom. "Hey, what made you start this?"

"Where are my manners?" Lucian paced around the room, humming quietly in mock wonder. "We haven't even introduced ourselves. You can begin."

Tomio peered at Lucian's eyes, sighing as the question was lost. "I believe someone should introduce himself before asking someone else their name."

"Lucian Delacroix, I founded this home for abandoned pokemon.." Lucian calmly started, " Now its your turn."

"Suishou Masahiro and this is Tomio Masahiro, my partner." Suishou beamed as Tomios face sunk into misery.

"Such a beautiful name for a beautiful lady." Lucian purred as he took her paw and gazed deeply into her eyes. "Suishou; such a name truly demands Arceus' grace and speaks of your virtuous character.. Why you want to be with Tommy is beyond me."

"Keep away from her." Tomio forced himself between the two, glaring viciously at Lucian.

"You have your lady's order to behave." Lucian calmly looked into the fire of Tomio's eyes as he pushed the door to the others open with a low, steady creak...

The Forsaken entry 7

Entry #7

Litter was strewn all over the pot hole riddled alley; every window on every house was broken, and every door had more scars than the two's hearts. Suishou glanced uneasily between Tomio and Lucian on the steps of the house, his paw raised in invitation to the dark opening of the apartment.

"Well?" Lucian called, slowly lowering his paw. "Aren't you going in?"

"We know what you want." Tomio's glanced to Suishou, before staring determinately into Lucian's smug grin. "We're not interested."

"Listen to me." for the first time, Lucian's face showed anger and his tone bitter, "I'm not saying whats right or wrong in this world, but everyone here was forsaken. Just. Like. You."

"Hey, I don't need-" Tomio started warningly, before Lucian cut in.

"However, unlike you, they can't just 'hate' trainers and defend themselves." Lucian looked away from Tomio in disgust, "if I didn't help them, they would have starved to death or get sold into the ring and get beaten to death for the sick pleasure of humans..." he paused to calm down slightly. "Look, I don't give a damn what you decide to do, but if you decide to forsake them just like their 'loving' masters did, at least say it to their faces."

At that, Lucian spat on the step as he walked with his head lowered, sighing bitterly as he faded into the shadows of the apartment.

"Well, he knows how to make a guy feel bad.." Tomio spoke quietly, unable to face Suishou.

"...We'll at least listen to them." Suishou spoke with growing confidence, "They need someone to help them, and we're in the same boat as them, so isn't it better to be together than alone?"

"..I know you're right..." Tomio sighed before looking up to the open door. "We'll hear them out and see what we can do to help..."

Suishou small smile grew as she wrapped herself around him, her twin tails nuzzling against his shoulders, pressing her cheek against his own, before the two slowly headed into the door...

The Forsaken Christmas Special 1 part 2

Christmas Entry 1 -part 2-

The alley was coated with a thick blanket of snow, going all the way up to Suishou's elbows, she bit her lip against the cold, following the only set of footprints in the snow.

"Where did you go..." she murmured to herself, just as the wind was letting up.

Slugging through the snow, Suishou followed the paw prints for what seemed like hours, until she came across a brightly lit shopping district, where the trail turned from a single track, to over 200.

"..Oh come on!" Suishou sighed slightly, before heading down the first trail she saw.

"Hi there." A woman called out, she had red hair in a neat ponytail, dressed in a red dress and boots, both with a white fur trim, and a santa hat covering her left ear. "You look pretty hungry, do you want something to eat?"

Suishou immediately wrapped herself around the woman's exposed leg, purring warmly before pleadingly mewing at the girl.

"I'll take that as a yes." The woman smiled, dusting off some snow from a feeding bowl and put some steaming pokemon food in it. "This is a special recipe from our very own Charles."

Sniffing curiously, Suishou took a bite, before wolfing down the entire bowl and sat upright, smiling at the woman.

"I'll give you a packet." the woman smiled in return. "Where's your trainer?"

Suishou looked up in thought, then started down the alley, gesturing to the woman to follow her.

"Okay, I'll do a home delivery!" The woman laughed before turning to a dark haired man with a equally dark tan. "Hey, can i take some time off to do a home delivery?"

The man looked at her, then at Suishou, then back at the woman. "You're supposed to be working Cam!"

Glancing at Suishou, Cam looked back to the man before waving, "Okay! i'll be back soon!"

"Hey, hey HEY!" the man stomped his foot in the snow, almost dropping a crate he was carrying. "come back here!"

"Later!" Cam smirked as she walked off with a entire box of Charles's Pokemon food...

The Forsaken Christmas Special 1 part 1

Christmas Entry 1 -part 1-

A cold wind blew through the window, pushing a single snowflake on the tip of Suishou's nose, her twin tails nuzzled gently against her nose as she slowly opened her deep, hazel eyes.

"Snow...?" Suishou purred quietly as she stretched, her limber form cricking quietly before curiously glancing up and down the cracked wall. "Its almost that time of year again..."

Glancing around the room, she saw the small Celes; her yellow skin and black markings covering the tip of her ears and tail, clinging desperately against herself.

"Celes..." Suishou whispered into the Pichu's ear, waiting for a response, Celes answered with small mutterings in her sleep. Suishou nuzzled gently against her cheek. "I'll let you sleep in a little, it is the Holidays."

Wandering around the apartment, Suishou passed a few rooms with about a dozen sleeping children, but no sign of him anywhere.

"Just where are you headed?" a indifferent voice called from a shadow on the stairs. "Some place to enjoy the season, no doubt?"

"No, i'm just looking for Tomio." she replied mildly, looking at the spring tail outline. "Did you have any plans Lucian?"

"Other than sleeping..." The shadowy outline paused as he started to stretch, continuing to crane his neck, allowing seven cricks before facing her. "No major plan as I'm depending on your mate to bring home the beef."

"he won't like that!" Suishou giggled warmly, "But, he'll bring something back for everyone as he'll feel guilty if he only gets something for us."

"If he wasn't so interesting, it wouldn't be fun to tease him all the time." Lucian nodded curtly. "He headed out the door not even 20 minutes ago if you want to follow him."

Suishou smiled warmly at the catty pokemon before darting to the door, her soft paws patting against the wooden floor, leaping up to twist the handle, the door opened with a swish. She grimaced slightly as she stepped out against the wind and snow...

The Forsaken entry 6

Entry #6

Litter was strewn all over the pot hole riddled alley; every window on every house was broken, and every door had more holes than Swiss cheese. Suishou glanced uneasily between Glameow and Tomio, as the door slowly creaked open and a small paw protruded through the shadows.

"Lucian?" a quiet voice called out. "Are you back?"

"It's me." The Glameow mildly replied. "I brought them as well."

Slowly, the door inched open more and a small Pichu stood in the door, her ribs were poking against her skin.

"Where are we?" Tomio looked to 'Lucian', his words shushed by the child.

"We are at a 'sanctuary' for abandoned Pokémon." Lucian mildly replied. "However, I'm too frail to 'gather' things from trainers, and there are not many trainers willing to just give food to the forsaken leftovers of other trainers."

Tomio seethed slightly under his breath. "We're not just leftovers, 'Lucian'."

"Oh?" Purring slightly, Lucian licked his lips. "Then what trainer do you cling to?"

Donning a battle stance, Tomio flicked his head back, his yellow ribbon riding on his growing aura. "We don't NEED to 'cling' to one."

"Just as I thought." Lucian superiorly lifted his nose to Tomio. "You're just some trainer's sloppy seconds."

"Take. That. Back." Tomio advanced on the Glameow, a vicious dark aura escaping his fur as his markings shone radiantly, completely illuminating the open doorway where- "...You'll get whats coming later."

Tomio grumbled as his aura dissipated and his markings dulled, looking to where the small Pichu was now cowering in fear from him.

"Tomio..." Suishou sighed quietly, her pleading eyes looking sadly into his own. "Please don't cause trouble here..."

"The big bad Pokémon here isn't going to hurt anyone." Lucian walked to the Pichu, placing a heavy paw on her shoulder. "Now, go back inside and tell the others we’re here."

Turning back, Lucian smiled a crooked grin, raising a paw to invite the two inside...

The Forsaken entry 5

Entry #5

The alley was cloaked in shadow enough to dull the colour of all inside it; Tomio's form was only visible by his dull golden marks, Suishou's fur could be barely seen. The two watched the Glameow stretch casually against the chain fence.

"What do you have for us?" Suishou peered curiously through the shadow.

"Just gimme a minute.." he mumbled between stretches. "I barely got enough sleep last night, 13 hours just isn't enough."

"Don't jerk us around." Tomio glared as he advanced on the Glameow, donning a battle stance. "If you're going to waste our time, we're leaving."

"Don't be like that." The Glameow purred, watching Tomio's expression. "I have such a wonderful thing for you."

"Out. With. It." Tomio spat bitterly.

"Follow me if you wish to see." Smiling warmly, the Glameow deliberately paused for several moments before continuing. "For this teaches patience to the impatient."

Grumbling, Tomio gestured to the cat to lead the way, and the two followed him past several identical alleys, the clouds overheard were starting to pan out and light could be seen.

"Just a little further." The Glameow superiorly held his head up.

"You said that a hour ago." Tomio seethed as they crossed a road and ventured into another alley. "Just where are we going?"

"To someplace of interest to others..." The Glameow purred. "But those people are insane, so we're going there for my interest."

"I don't like this Tomio..." Suishou glanced around as she saw the scenery in the alley they just turned to had abandoned homes and chop-shopped cars.

"Don't worry..." Tomio nuzzled briefly against her fur. "I won't let anything happen to you."

"...I'm worried if something happens to you because you protected me.." Suishou forlornly stared at the floor.

"There lies the interesting, yet uninteresting thing for you." the Glameow suddenly stopped behind a run down house. The two glanced to the other as the rusty door started to creak open...

The Forsaken entry 4

Entry #4

A passing cloud cloaked the alley in shadows as Tomio and Suishou pressed forward, their soft paws patting over the tarmac, following the only path they knew for three long years.

"Tomio.." Suishou quietly murmured.

Tomio walked on with his head lowered, not even looking at Suishou.

"Let me in, Tomio." Suishou darted in front of her companion. "Tell me what's on your mind."

Tomio sat down, his eyes forlornly staring at the ground, allowing a full sixty seconds to pass, Suishou's eyes looking at his own.

"..We loved him." Tomio mouthed quietly, "we even developed our powers to protect him.."

"I know.." Suishou nuzzled against him.

"We loved and were loved..." Tomio looked into her eyes solemnly. "..Only to be left to die in a dumpster.."

"Tomio." Suishou sighed quietly, gazing down as her heart hurt slightly. "H-He didn't leave us to die... He just..." she paused to find a word that could not be found.

"That's why I can't accept them." Tomio viciously growled as he stood up, his markings radiantly shining in the shadows of the alley. "Just because they find something 'better', they'll treat anyone and anything like garbage."

"I guess..." Suishou glanced to the side to protect her eyes from the glow. "That makes us 'the Forsaken'..."

"How touching." A voice calmly called from above.

Subconsciously, Tomio's markings stopped glowing as he and Suishou looked to the top of a link fence where the outline of a cat could be seen through the shadows.

"Who's there?" Tomio barked in the dark.

"No one of real interest." The outline stretched briefly, craning its neck around as three cricks echoed through the alley.

"Then in that case.." Tomio glanced to his companion, giving her a curt nod before starting off down the alley. "We'll just go now then."

"Oh very well.." Sighing, the outline jumped in front of the two, revealing its spring tail and grey fur. "I have something of some interest for you two."
