The Forsaken Valentines Entry 3

The Forsaken Valentines Entry #3

Passing through brightly lit street, every shop had luminous reds, and all of them had red hearts and festive goods for Valentines. Suishou looked to the signs, reading them as her soft paws patted quietly over the pavement.

"What do you want to eat Tomio?" Suishou absent mindedly started, passing by a shop offering a 'Love curry' with heart shaped naan bread. "I don't really like Indian..."

Pausing, she looked behind her, only seeing a few people coming out of a chocolate shop.

Dread starting to overwhelm her, she started to rush down the way she came, charging into someone coming out of a shop, toppling both of them over.

A familiar voice scowled as an Umbreon wearing a yellow ribbon got up, growling slightly before stopping in a heartbeat as he saw her. "...Suishou. Were you worried?"

"Worried!" Suishou huffed as she batted Tomio across the shoulder. "I was terrified something happened to you and whats-"

Suishou's mood changed instantly as she saw the bag on his shoulder; covered with hearts with an almost silent clink, and imagining why he disappeared.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to lose my temper..." She pleadingly looked into his caring eyes.

"Its fine." Tomio smiled as he started down the road. "I would be worried if something were to happen to you."

Blushing slightly, she wrapped her tail around his, purring warmly. "What do you want to eat Tomio?"

Tomio looked to her with the faintest hint of a grin, before rushing down a back alley, trying to follow him, she darted and swirled around people and carts, before finding Tomio perched outside the back door to a shop that smelt heavily of garlic.

"What's here?" Suishou sniffed curiously.

"I hope you like Italian." Tomio looked to her as he nuzzled her neck.

She smiled back at Tomio, sitting next to him, as they could hear a man with a thick Italian accent sing as delicious odours and hot steam wafting through the screen door...
