Entry #2

In the alley laid Golbat, defeated. His trainer recalled it to his pokeball as Espeon's expression pierced Tomio's heart; he looked pitifully into her eyes before slowly stepping over to her, nuzzling meekly against her cheek.

"Not. Now." Espeon seethed. "Do you have ANY idea how concerned I was about you?"

"Sorry, truly I am." Tomio sighed sadly, his ears drooping lower. "I have no excuse to give as nothing could amend my selfishness. I can only hope that you won't hate me for it..."

"...I guess I can't completely blame you." Espeon's expression softened, nuzzling against his cheek. "But the very least that you could have done was bring me with you, we were together ever since our trainer left us..." she paused to nuzzle against him again "We're all the other has. Don't forget it Tomio."

"I won't ever forget it Suishou..." Tomio smiled, nuzzling her back.

"You look pretty hungry, want some food?" The trainer grinned, rummaging around in his back bag before pulling out a plate. The two looked at it questionably as the trainer brushed his hair out of his eyes before scooping food on the plate.

"Can we?" Suishou giggled.

"It would be a shame to let it go to waste." Tomio added, his stomach quietly rumbling at the thought of a meal for the first time in days. "We better take his generous offer."

At that, the two smiled at each other before wolfing the food down. The trainer smiled warmly at the two before placing two empty pokeballs in front of them.

"...I should have known he had an ulterior motive..." Tomio scowled in disgust as he stopped eating.

"You were really strong!" The trainer beamed brightly, "I would be honoured if you decided to let me be your trainer!"

"...Can we?" Suishou looked seriously at Tomio, her eyes and soul pleading with Tomio's.

Tomio glanced at the trainer, his expression sincere, glancing around at the alley he called home for so long. Sighing quietly, he looked to his companion before walking over to the pokeball...
